World University of Design (WUD), Sonipat, India, welcomes students from across the world to study over eighteen programs in architecture, design, business, fashion, communication, visual arts, performing arts, and emerging creative technologies. Admission Process for International Students
Step 1: Check who can Apply Under International Category:
Eligible categories include:
• Foreign Nationals
• OCI (Overseas Citizens of India)
• PIO Card Holders
• NRIs (who studied abroad in Grades 11 & 12)
• NRI-Sponsored Students
Step 2: Apply Online
International applicants must apply using the dedicated international application form: Application form Link

• Application fee: INR 2,000 (approx. USD 25)
• Payment through: Bank transfer or Credit card
Step 3: Provisional Admission Offer Letter (PAOL)
Once selected, the student receives a Provisional Admission Offer Letter (PAOL) after payment of a non-refundable advance of USD 500 (or INR equivalent). This offer letter is required for the Student Visa process.
Step 4: Student Visa Application
All international students must hold a Student Visa endorsed to World University of Design, Sonipat. The PAOL must be submitted to the Indian Embassy/Consulate in the student’s home country to apply for a Student Visa (or Research Visa for PhD candidates).
Certain nationalities may require Ministry of Home Affairs security clearance

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
International students must have completed:
• A qualification equivalent to Indian Class 12 (10+2)
• The qualification must be recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi
Commonly accepted qualifications include:
• IB (International Baccalaureate)
• GCE A Levels
Applicants may be required to submit an AIU Equivalence Certificate after admission.
Office of International Admissions
The Office of International Admissions serves as the key support system for all international students at WUD. During the first week of arrival,the office assists with:

Language of Instruction
All programs at WUD are taught entirely in English, and students must have adequate proficiency to participate in studio work, classroom teaching and critiques.Accepted evidence (where applicable):
