The International Journal of Arts Architecture & Design (JAARD) is a peer-reviewed, open- access scholarly journal published by the World University of Design, India.
JAARD provides an interdisciplinary platform for research, critical enquiry and scholarly
exchange across the fields of visual and performing arts, architecture, design and related
creative disciplines. The journal welcomes work that advances knowledge within individual disciplines as well as research situated at their intersections.
Published twice a year, in January and July, JAARD brings together scholars, practitioners, researchers and educators from diverse geographical and disciplinary contexts. It particularly encourages contributions that connect theory and practice, research and making, critical reflection and creative enquiry.
The journal publishes original research articles as well as critical commentaries, short
communications, book reviews and other scholarly formats relevant to its scope. Proposals for guest-edited special issues are also welcome.

Aims & Scope

JAARD seeks to advance rigorous and original scholarship across the arts, architecture and design while encouraging dialogue between disciplines, practices and cultural contexts.

The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, methodological, historical, practice-based and applied research addressing established as well as emerging questions in the creative disciplines.
