INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE

Yes. International exposure is an integral part of the WUD academic experience. WUD has built an active network of academic and institutional collaborations across different parts of the world. These partnerships support student and faculty exchange, collaborative studios and projects, joint research, conferences, workshops, exhibitions, visiting faculty engagements, study visits and other forms of international academic interaction.
International engagement at WUD is not limited to travel. Students also benefit from interaction with international faculty, researchers, practitioners and partner institutions through collaborative projects and academic activities conducted on campus and online. The objective is to expose students to different cultures, design approaches, professional practices and ways of thinking, and to prepare them to work confidently in an increasingly global creative economy.

Yes. Depending on the programme, partner institution and opportunities available in a particular year, WUD students may participate in semester exchanges, short-term study programmes, summer schools, collaborative studios, research projects, competitions, conferences and study visits. Some opportunities involve spending an extended period at a partner university, while others are shorter immersive experiences designed around a particular project, discipline or theme.
WUD also encourages students to participate in international academic and professional platforms where such opportunities can add meaningful value to their education and portfolios. Specific opportunities, eligibility requirements, academic credit arrangements and costs vary from programme to programme. Students should therefore refer to the International Relations section of the WUD website for current opportunities.
