Submit to JAARD

JAARD welcomes original manuscripts addressing subjects within its aims and scope.
Before submission, authors should ensure that the manuscript:
 represents original work;
 has not previously been published;
 is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal;
 is situated appropriately within relevant scholarly literature;
 complies with the journal’s ethical policies;
 has been carefully proofread; and
 follows the prescribed manuscript and referencing style.

Manuscript Length
Full-length papers should normally contain 3,000–7,000 words, excluding the abstract and references. JAARD follows APA Style of referencing.

File Format
Please submit: an editable Microsoft Word manuscript; and a PDF copy of the manuscript.
Files should be named: JAARD_[Corresponding Author Name]
The completed Author Undertaking must accompany the submission.

After Submission
Manuscripts passing the initial editorial screening are sent for peer review.
Where revision is requested, authors will normally be given 30 days unless otherwise communicated to provide a revised manuscript together with a point-by-point response to reviewer comments.
Authors should clearly identify revisions made in response to the review.

Article Processing Charge
JAARD does not charge authors for manuscript submission.
For manuscripts accepted for publication, an Article Processing Charge of INR 3,000 plus applicable GST is currently payable.
The charge supports costs associated with manuscript handling, editorial processing and publication of the journal.
Payment of an Article Processing Charge has no bearing on editorial or peer-review decisions.
