United Nations Development Programme, MediaLAB Amsterdam (Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences) and World University of Design invite you to join the 2nd edition of the #Design 2030 Now initiative!

#GlobalGoalsJam Delhi is hosted by the World University of Design at its Sonepat Campus on 15-16 September 2017. Five Creative teams of designers, developers and Jammers will work together to create actionable interventions aimed at short term targets in support of the long term goals. The theme of Global Goals Jam in Delhi is Waste management. This theme encompasses the bigger objective to achieve Sustainable cities for 2030!

During the 2015 Social Good Summit, 193 world leaders committed to achieving 17 Sustainable Development Goals by year 2030. In the first #GlobalGoalsJam edition people in 109 locations around the world, discussed these 17 Global Goals and what they would mean for their lives. The second edition proposes to be bigger and better.

Any professional (of any discipline - design, engineering, social sciences, medicine, law etc) wanting to create a change or having innovative ideas or desirous of learning service design can be a part of this event. Entry is through application and short-listing. There are 25 seats only.

We are inviting applications in two categories.

1. Ideator : 

If you have an idea you can drive the team with ? Then this seat is for you. 
You will be able to pitch your idea not only to the Expert Panel but also to UNDP if selected ahead. Of all applications, only 10 ideas will be shortlisted for pitching at #GGJ, of which 5 ideas will get the opportunity to go onstage during the event. The remaining 5 pitchers will join one of the 5 teams.

2. Participant:

This seat is for professionals who are interested in contribution and learning. For people who want to be a part of teams and contribute their bit in taking the ideas presented to a more functional level. Expect meeting innovative professionals and contribute, co-learn, collaborate and much more. There are only 15 seats and short-listing will be done by the organisers keeping in mind the merit and diversity.

*World University of Design takes pride in hosting the event in India. There are no charges for selected participants. All material, refreshments, meals will be on the house. The nominal application fee is only for processing and to upkeep the solemnity of the event.
