Rugved Patil
I am Rugved Patil and have done BE in automobile engineering from mumbai university. I have attended Siam Design Workshop at habitat centre delhi (2019) where renouned desigers from the country were present. It was huge learning for me and also included seminar on Design and its process, with hands on experience on sketching techniques. I also got an opportunity to intern at Advandes Design and engineering services, Pune.
The design process of my project started with a brief survey and research followed by studying the delivery scooters and their utility in Indian cities. The design phase was picking up the bold character of the scooter and turning them into forms, followed by arranging them into the functional design and thus collecting each character to finalize the scooters’ aesthetics. Photoshop renders and 3d surfacing helped in creating a volume and CAD was the step towards a realistic approach towards the final design.
