I am Karthik from Bengaluru, Karnataka. I am good at photography apart from the necessary designer skills. I enjoy watching science documentary making and wildlife filming. I want to apply my engineering knowledge and design skills together to bring out a special product in the automobile sector.

Graduation Project was to design, engineer, create and test a VTOL Drone for agricultural purpose. Sansbornes aerospace company sponsored the project. Design briefs to be unlike standard commercially drones, had to employ fixed wing with integrated sprayer and rotor. The main aim was to carry liquid payload of much higher carrying capacity, so fixed wing was used. Intensive study was done on technology, sensors, loads and stresses, wings and other structures. Different configuration s of wings and positions of rotors were designed, calculated and tested a final version of CAD model was created based on extensive calculations. Physical scale model was created and different tests were done, the final outcome obtained was very satisfactory and upon further fine tuning, can be used commercially. This would help many farmers ease their effort and help them get more yield.
