Granted a boon that made him nearly invincible, Mahishasura misused his power to disrupt cosmic order and defeat the gods. In response, the combined energies of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva manifested as Goddess Durga, embodying divine feminine \u0936\u0915\u094d\u0924\u093f. Armed with celestial weapons and mounted on a lion, she battled Mahishasura for nine days and nights and defeated him on the tenth day, restoring balance. This event is commemorated during Navratri and culminates in Vijayadashami.
