Graduation Project

Project Title – Muhammad bin Abdullah Mosque, Ayodhya, U.P.

This project is about designing a Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center on a 5-acre site in Dhannipur, Ayodhya. The idea is to create a space not only for prayer but also for learning and community activities. The mosque will include a main prayer hall, women’s prayer area, ablution spaces, and a courtyard. Along with this, the project also has cultural and educational spaces like classrooms, a library, seminar halls, and multipurpose areas. The planning focuses on simple and clear movement, where people enter through open spaces, move through courtyards, and reach the prayer hall facing the Qibla. Separate access for men and women is also considered. Outdoor areas, landscape, and shaded spaces are designed to make the environment comfortable. Overall, the aim is to design a place that feels peaceful, functional, and connected to both tradition and the needs of the community.
