My name is Nishita Dahiya, and I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in fashion designing at the World University of Design. I see myself as an active learner and someone who is always eager to explore new ideas and perspectives. Fashion, for me, is not just a field of study but a way to express creativity and individuality. Alongside designing, I also enjoy writing, which allows me to put my thoughts and inspirations into words. I am enthusiastic about growing, learning, and shaping my own identity in the world of fashion.

Graduation Project

Project Title - The Royal Darbar

Inspired by the grandeur of royal courts (Darbars) where kings held meetings, celebrations, and ceremonies. The collection reflects opulence, culture, and refined celebration. The designs reinterpret classic Indian menswear through a contemporary lens, blending structured tailoring with fluid drapes. Each ensemble reflects the transition of a modern man through celebratory moments from intimate pre-wedding gatherings to grand evening affairs while carrying the essence of royal heritage. Luxurious fabrics, muted regal tones, and intricate yet subtle detailing evoke a sense of timeless sophistication, bridging the past with the present.
