I’m Chaitanya Bajpai, a design student with a background in visual and creative work. I started with over three years of experience in graphic design, where I focused on creating visuals that looked appealing and communicated ideas clearly. But as I explored design more deeply, my way of thinking began to change. I started paying more attention to how people interact with things—how they use a product, what confuses them, and what makes something feel easy or enjoyable. Now, whenever I see anything designed—whether it’s digital or physical—I find myself asking, “Is this the right way to make it for the person who’s going to use it?” That question has become the core of how I think and work. For this project, I aim to bring creative thinking, attention to detail, and a strong interest in making things that are not only well-designed, but truly useful and thoughtful.
Graduation Project
Project Title – Making Work More Human, One Talent at a Time
Project Sponsor – FUNMARK
We spend a major part of our day at work, yet rarely get the chance to show who we are beyond our
job titles. At Newmark India, many employees expressed feeling disengaged, bored, and disconnected
from one another. Internal communication was functional—but lacked personality, expression, and
fun.
To address this, I designed FUNMARK, a creative internal platform where employees could
showcase their hidden talents, engage with live event updates, suggest or browse memes
anonymously, and feel more personally connected to their workplace.
Built using tools like Ceros, Microsoft SharePoint, and custom HTML/CSS, FUNMARK created a
space for lighthearted expression, confidence-building, and stronger workplace culture. What started
as a response to boredom became a movement toward belonging—proving that even inside the walls
of work, people deserve a place to simply be themselves.
