Graduation Project

Project Title – Snail bonnet design
Project Sponsor – SONALIKA (international tractor limited) ITL

As part of my Transportation Design studies at the World University of Design, I developed a unique tractor bonnet design inspired by the organic form and structure of a snail. The concept draws from the snail’s natural shell shape, which represents strength, protection, and smooth flow—qualities essential in modern agricultural machinery. The bonnet’s curvilinear design enhances aerodynamics while providing a bold and futuristic aesthetic. The spiral contour of the snail shell influenced the surface transitions, creating a visually dynamic yet functional form. Emphasis was placed on integrating form with function—ensuring proper ventilation, accessibility for maintenance, and brand identity within the agricultural sector.
