Graduation Project
Project Title – MOXA Launching Gantry
Project Sponsor– Hindustan Construction Company ( HCC)
The MOXA Launching Gantry is a modular and adaptable solution designed to meet the growing demands of infrastructure projects. With increasing infrastructure requirements and a shift towards material-aware design, modular construction equipment is crucial, especially given the rising need for short-term, location-specific solutions. Using the Coastal Road Project, Bandra-Worli Sea Link, and the Agardanada Creek Bridge project as case studies, the project focuses on designing a sustainable, multi-utility, modular Launching Gantry for bridge construction. By incorporating biomimicry principles, the design aims to address span variability, geological conditions, and modern needs, creating an engineering solution that is both efficient and adaptable.
