This project was developed in collaboration with a family whose children are passionate about writing their own stories. Wanting to preserve and celebrate their creativity, the family approached Do Studio to bring two of the children’s original stories to life through illustration and design.my role was to visually interpret these stories and transform them into engaging picture books. The challenge lay in understanding the narrative from a child’s perspective while maintaining a cohesive visual language that appeals to both kids and adults and also choosing the color palettes The process involved detailed illustration work, mood-setting through color palettes, and layout development to ensure the storytelling flowed smoothly across pages. From rough sketches to final artworks, each illustration was carefully crafted to reflect the tone, emotion, and imagination of the young authors’ worlds—turning their creative ideas into a tangible, publishable experience.
