Graduation Project

Project Title – CHAKRAVYUH

This project presents a performative retelling of Abhimanyu’s Vadh from the Mahabharata through the classical idioms of Kathak, Pakhawaj, and poetic narration. Highlighting the extraordinary courage of an eighteen-year-old warrior who entered the Chakravyuha with incomplete knowledge, the production explores themes of sacrifice, dharma, and ethical action. Using dance, rhythm, music, and a narrative poem by Shri Ashutosh Rana, the piece blends tradition and interpretation to reflect on timeless questions of bravery and justice through a contemporary performative lens.
