Graduation Project

Project Title – Samayaantarit

This presentation explores timeless human emotions, resonating with the enduring essence of love and loss. The Kalahaantarita Nayika, a lesser-explored archetype in Bharatnatyam, embodies a heroine separated from her lover due to a quarrel. Drawing from the Natyasastra, Rasamanjari, and Basholi paintings, this performance piece is a scholarly discourse incorporating Kathak, Odisssi, and contemporary elements.
