Rajasthan Set To Transform Ramgarh Crater Into A Geo-Tourist Attraction
The crater, 12 kilometres from Mangrol tehsil of Baran district, was discovered in 1869. It is believed that this crater, which has a diameter of 3.5 kilometres, was formed after a meteorite fell from space 600 million years ago. So selecting the Astro-tourism aspect from the whole proposal creating an Astro-tourism hub to bring in the tourist influx in the Hadoti circuit of Rajasthan and in order to develop the conditions of the site .
