I am Saumya Dhiman, a fashion design graduate from World University of design. The urge to know more, widen my perceptions and the freedom to think is something that led me to pursue designing as my career. My passion for Indian, foreign culture and subcultures, has also led me to have keen interest streetwear genre. I always try to seek experience and learn more about my field as much as i could.

GRADUATION PROJECT

My graduation project was with brand Hemant and Nandita owned by husband and wife Hemant lalwani and Nandita lalwani. During my internship period i got a chance to work on their Fall and Resort wear collection. The collection was for a powerful, strong women who likes modesty with bold silhouettes and timeless designs. the collection encapsulating feminism with unique designs and prints. Inspired by the 1900s vintage era with feminine silhouettes and vintage chint prints and architecture of that era. The collection is modernised and made relevant for todays world.
