As part of Global Goals Jam initiative of The Digital Society School, Amsterdam University of Applied sciences with UNDP, World University of Design is organizing the second exclusive workshop at its campus, aimed at achieving UNDPs sustainable goal #3 – Good Health & Well Being.
GJJ is an international platform for inclusive learning where people from all around the world who contribute to the 17 global goals for sustainable development share their stories and talk about their projects and vision for the future. GGJ Delhi 2.0 will provide an opportunity wherein human minds from various sectors can ideate & work together with industry experts, gain valuable insights and shape their ideas better to create a better future for mankind.

Today, life expectancy and prosperity has generally improved across the developing world with the exception of sub-Saharan Africa, which continues to be heavily affected by AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, childhood diarrhea, and respiratory diseases.
Developing world faces health issues related to Social & Economic Determinants. Along with getting older, people are becoming vulnerable to non-communicable chronic diseases, including cancer, diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and the risk factors that cause them. Social and economic changes, such as migration to cities, traffic accidents, and adoption of more sedentary lifestyles, rich diets, smoking, and addictions add further risk factors to a healthy life.
The aim will be to create or improve informative, preventative, diagnostic, therapeutic or assistive interventions for issues related to good health & well being. Cross-disciplinary approaches are encouraged.
Any professional & student (of any discipline - design, engineering, social sciences, medicine, law etc) wanting to bring about a change or having innovative ideas or desirous of learning service design can be a part of this event. Entry is through application and short-listing. There are 50 seats only.
Applications are invited in two categories.
*World University of Design takes pride in hosting the event in India. There are no charges for selected participants. All material, refreshments, meals will be on the house. The nominal application fee is only for processing and to upkeep the solemnity of the event
