Amit Patil is a curious wanderer, father, poet and has been a UX professional for the last 13 years.

Currently, he manages a team of designers around workplace intelligence in Microsoft. Previously he has worked for companies like Honeywell Aerospace, IBM and multiple startups. He is an alumnus of NID Gandhinagar and has also been an engineer early in his career.

He is also a visiting faculty at NID Bangalore and a member of the board of studies at MIT Design, Pune. While trying his hand at publishing a few patents and papers, his interest lies in applying research within the industry.

Daniel Sims is the owner/founder of Sims Design Consultants LLC, in Orange County California. A strong believer in the power of empathy and a human centered approach to solve vexing problems, he is an industry expert in Design Thinking, bringing global design leadership experience. He is providing design expertise to a range of clients in automotive, product and user experience design. Dan’s career includes 10+ years as a design leader at Procter & Gamble and prior to that 20+ years as an automotive design leader for Mitsubishi Motors and Chrysler Motors Corporation.

Dan holds a Master of Project Management from Keller/DeVry School of Management and a B.S. in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning.

Nishma is co founder at Ticket Design a multidisciplinary design consulting firm.

Some of the awards that Ticket Design has won are Red Dot Product Design Award, CII award for UX design, Silver award at US Appliance Design, India Star and Asia Star presidential award to name a few.

Nishma is an alumnus of NID Ahmedabad. Nishma, started her career as an industrial designer with Tata Johnson Controls, designing passenger car seating and going on to design several products for Bluestar, Whirlpool, Siemens, Honeywell etc. She has been invited as a jury for various national and international design awards like DFC (Design for change competition) and Core77 Design awards to name a few. In her rejuvenation time, Nishma seeks out and sketches nature, reads, and practices crafts with her daughter.

Formally trained in graphic design (NID, Ahmedabad) & interaction design (IDII, Italy), Rajesh Dahiya is the founder of one of India’s leading independent brand design practices—Codesign ( www.codesign.in ). As creative head at Codesign, he has led projects for iconic Indian brands like Royal Enfield, Tata Motors, Wildcraft, Godrej and dynamic startups like PhonePe, developing deeply strategic and impactful brand identity systems.

Rajesh has represented Indian design & Codesign at numerous national and international platforms including, What Design Can Do (Amsterdam), London Design Festival, Sri Lanka Design Festival, Kyoorius Design Yatra India, he is considered one of the most significant voices in Indian design industry, and has founded several independent projects like Dekho, Rising & Unbox design festival to build active dialogue around design practice and innovation in India.

Under his stewardship, Codesign and its work have been featured and awarded on Indian and international platforms including Design Museum London, D&AD UK, Eye Magazine UK, Domus Italy, Creative Review UK, Kyoorius India and CII India.

Rajesh is a member of prestigious organisation- AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale). He learns by teaching, and maintains an obsessive love for finer details.

Industrial Designer and Design Strategist Sertac Ersayin has participated as a jury member at various national and international design competitions such as IF Design Award ( 7 times ) / Hannover, Design Intelligence Award ( DIA, Hangzhou – China Academy of Art ) , Shenzhen International Design Award, G Mark- Good Design Japan ( 3 times ), Design Management Europe Award/Eindhoven , DIA, High Speed Train Design Competition / China ( 2 times ) and Best Design Project Award / India ( 2 times ) and following more than 300 national and international competitions. He is the Executive Board Member of Design Turkey, Design Evaluation System since 2008 and President of Industrial Designers Society of Turkey since 2014. He has received numerous international awards on design and innovation in Germany, Italy, Netherland, Portugal, Turkey and Korea. He previously worked as an industrial designer and design director for one of Fortune 500 companies in Istanbul, Hong Kong, Shenzhen. He is now founder and director of Istanbul based Design and Strategy Development & Consultant Company, re/form/ist.

Sheela Lunkad is the co founder of Direct Create -a technology platform that enables makers ,designers and markets to collaborate and co create across geographical boundaries in the handmade ecosystem.Sheela has more than two decades of experience in the areas of Design and sustainable practices in arenas ranging from craft revival, textiles, product design,Architectural and spacial design and sustainable eco tourism in Hospitality .She is the founder director of chestnut heights resorts pvt ltd and Vistaap Infra projects pvt ltd.

Suhas is Director, Cognizant Interactive at Cognizant Technology Solutions, an IT MNC. After completing his Bachelors in Design & Applied Arts he started as a Graphic Designer. Gradually, he moved to Cognizant and started as Project Manager. He led the Content and Design Services (C&DS) team for Cognizant Pune. They help in enhancing user experience and user adoption of the application.

Siddharth Kabra is a product and strategy consultant working with various local and national brands. Siddharth studied Product Design at NID, Ahmedabad and Strategic Managment at IIM, Calcutta. He has been working in the area of Design consulting for over 17 years for clients across sectors; and has built an organization comprising of various design services offered as a integrated, end to end service.
