Indian Knowledge Systems in a Globalized World through the Lens of Performing Arts (Dance/Music/Theatre)
Building on the resounding success of ANVESHANA 2024, which set new benchmarks in fostering dialogue and innovation within the performing arts, the annual international performing arts conference of the WUD School of Performing Arts (Sonipat), continues to evolve as a transformative platform dedicated to reimagining the performing arts landscape in India. It bridges tradition, innovation, and technology to spark global conversations and foster creations that shape the future of traditional dance forms. ANVESHANA 2025 focuses on exploring the rich heritage of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) and their influence on performing arts, seamlessly integrating ancient wisdom with modern innovation. The conference aspires to ignite transformative dialogues, inspire interdisciplinary collaborations, and celebrate the intricate interplay between cultural heritage and the evolving performing arts ecosystem. With a vision of empowering artists and scholars to reinterpret traditional dance forms, integrate modern technology with ancient practices, and promote linguistic and cultural diversity, ANVESHANA 2025 aims to create a vibrant space for collaboration, academic discourse, and creative expression that honors and adapts the principles of IKS in a dynamic world.

Submission Guidelines
Submission Guidelines For Papers
- Paper should be written in A4 size format, 12pts Times New Roman font with for English OR 12pts Nirmala UI/Krutidev 010 font for Hindi.
- Full paper word limit is 3500 words for Paper presentation and for Performances, the max limit is 1500.
- Please submit the abstract and paper through anveshana.sopa@wud.ac.in (Remember to mention your institutional affiliation, full name, and phone number in the body of the mail.)
- We expect original works. If assisted by AI you must give credit in bibliography to AI assistant.
- PPTs are expected to be carried along for further presentation of the paper during the time of the conference.
Submission Guidelines For Performance
- Performance article should contain details outlining the essence, theme, and objectives of the performance.
- Solo, duet, or group (max 5 participants) performances are accepted. Indian classical, folk, or experimental genres. Only recorded music is allowed; live accompaniment is not permitted.
Important Dates, Deadlines And Fees
The fees cover costs for the presentation slot, networking tea, and publication fees(in the ISBN book)
- Submission Deadline: Till 20th March 2025
- Conveying Paper/Performance acceptance: 5th April 2025
- Author Registration Deadline: 12th April 2025
- Conference: 8 th – 9th May 2025
